I pay for multi room and Sky Go is a big part of how I use my expensive Sky subscription and all I get is a fob off. Reboot your PC and then download and install the Sky Go app again. Browse or search to find help, or start a new discussion on Community. Most perplexed, resetting Citrix has not fixed it and I have to use Citrix for work, it was working and now isn’t very strange.

Yup, the silence is defening from Sky. Both my computers have this same problem, the app just shows a giant play button and nothing else happens. The app must be total spaghetti code…. @Mickey-Padge I was contacted by a member of the Sky team who walked me through it. My computer had citrix workspace installed on it for work. After removing sky go and citrix workspace and reboot and reinstall of Sky go then worked perfectly.

I’ve left it for hours, but nothing ever loads. You’ll be able to sign up using your email address through the Premier Sports app on Sky Glass & Stream. Also occationally I see what looks like a different chanel breaking through, or when watching a corrupted MP4 file. If it happens with the new box then suspicion shifts to cabling or TV. I’m getting really browned off with Sky Q. I’ve had it since its launch and had constant issues since.
The Premier Sports app is available for Sky Glass & Stream customers. @jean+james there seem to be several issues going on here. It’s a little difficult to understand what the engineer came to investigate and what their conclusions were. It’s probably best for you to speak to Sky again to let them know the problems aren’t fixed, and ask what the next steps are. If this happens you can easily reset your Sky Hub to factory default settings. You just need to hold down the reset button on the back of the Sky Hub for ten seconds, until the power light flashes.
Do sky appeal to a different audience? I’ll never get EDF energy after the endless repeat of the kid on guitar. I created a new user on my Windows 11 PC, downloaded the App to that user and installed. Won’t get past the blue square with the white triangle. It says getting updates, then nothing.

This had happened after I’d tried the Windows Trouble Shooting and it had suggested running in Compatability Mode. It stayed like this even when I turned Compatibility mode off. When I unchecked the box pressed Apply then reloaded the app it had gone back to display the app across the full screen. I have had the same issue and followed your instructions but the app still does not work. It checks for updates, suggests it is downloading updates then leaves a blue screen with a play button until I close the app.
We will be watching Sky Q and the TV screen goes completely black for a second or two then comes back on. I assume it loses signal, then regains it. It does not happen when using any other input, only with Sky Q. I have switched from 10bit colour to 8bit colour and the black screen has stopped, well so far so good. However it nows that the likes of Disney, Netflix and Prime apps are only showing as HD and not 4K on the programs/films.
I never had any issues with Sky HD! I’m close to cancelling and I’ve been a loyal customer for 23 years.. You pay for the ability to fast forward through them. Best advice they could give is remove any snippet or video capture software from your device. I have a brand new Surface Pro 9 with Windows 11 Home and no other software. I asked if anything particular on Windows 11 I needed to delete and again Sky had no clue.
I had an issue were the app wouldn’t even open for me. I’m assuming there’s some app that conflicts with the Sky Go app. I simply added a new windows user and installed the app on that login(so its like fresh windows start up and only the essental apps are installed). I’ve been trying to resolve a problem where the Sky Go screen had gone to a smaller fixed size on the laptop and you couldn’t expand it.
